June 6, 2007, Deerfield Beach, FL – Platinum Productions TV is pleased to announce that Crowerpower will be featured on its innovative, educational television series, Competitive Edge. The company will be featured in a segment on “Performance Motorcycle Products” in the American Biker’s Series.
Anyone in racing will agree that racing is not just a hobby but rather a lifestyle. Dan Crower’s lifestyle found a home in the world of motorcycles. Founder of Crowerpower, Dan has been passionate about this lifestyle for over 25 years, and now offers high performance camshafts to propel motorcycle racers to new levels. While much has been done for the motocross part, Crower also expects more involvement with street bikes in the near future.
Crower’s name has been known in the racing industry for over 55 years. Dan’s father Bruce was recognized for his dedication to creating innovative products for the drag racing world when he was inducted into the Drag Racing Hall of Fame. Dan has taken his father’s same spirit and dedication and applied his knowledge to the world of motorcycle sports. His company sponsors many motocross riders and race teams alike.
The segment will educate viewers on camshafts. Because camshafts are essential to an engine’s performance at different speeds, Crowerpower has designed them with different levels of achievement: the NEW Victory series cams are designed to give four-stroke engines more torque and acceleration.
The Victory or V series camshafts new for 2007 takes the best of what we’ve offered and streamlines it into what Dan calls his most powerful cam line yet! The horsepower can go from the low end to the top of the RPM range and works best with larger CC engines that have been bored and stroked (a process to increase horsepower). However Crowerpower can engineer a new custom billet for any four stroke application, dirt, street, Harley auto imports and autos.
Crowerpower also offers Race Head packages including the Sportsman Series and the Pro-Mod Series, Mini Bike Engine kits, Big Bike Engine Kits, and Big Bike-Big Bore kits. Crowerpower customers can also shop for accessories including Red Line oil, LA Sleeve products and Sunoco Fuels. Crower has taken a lot of the same technology he used working on Indy car engines and applied it to bikes. Racers Kyle Lewis, Tim Ferry, Robbie Reynard, Justin Buckelew, Jessica Patterson, Casey Johnson, Tommy Clowers, Clark Stiles, Marty Smith, and Rick Johnson have used Crowerpower parts with great success.
