PTG Studios “Today’s Family” show to Crazy Hens
--Apparel that Keeps Kids Warm and Dry while Playing in the Snow--
May 30, 2007, Deerfield Beach, FL – Platinum Television Group is pleased to announce the selection of Crazy Hens, for its innovative, educational television program, Today’s Family. The company will be featured in a “Healthy Children” series.
Ever sent your children out to play in the snow, only to have them come back inside with frozen hands? Crazy Hens has got them covered – literally. The Ohio-based apparel company has created a revolutionary new system for keeping little fingers, hands, and wrists warm, and protected from snow.
Company owners, and moms, Trisha Kraus and Lori Mascall were frustrated by how many gloves and mittens went missing and how many fingers would freeze every winter, so they set out to find a way to prevent snow from getting inside the sleeves of jackets, and from gloves disappearing.
Says Trisha, “I’ve heard of some pretty creative solutions to this problem since we started our business. One mom actually duct-taped her daughter’s gloves to the sleeves of her coat to prevent snow from entering the wrist area.” It’s a problem that most parents and children experience when dressing for activities out in the snow. As a solution, Trisha and Lori came up with the No Snow Snuggler™, and No Snow II™.
The No-Snow Snuggler is worn underneath a child’s coat or snowsuit and features the patent-pending, water-resistant sleevemittens™ which protect children’s hands and wrists from the harsh winter weather. Unlike other extended length or over the elbow mittens, the No-Snow Snuggler™ not only prevents small children from removing their mittens, it also adds an extra layer of warmth to little hands, fingers and bodies.
The No-Snow II features a protective arm warmer which is held in place by a fingerless glove that slips into the child’s own glove. Constructed from Malden Mills 300 series fleece with DWR, the lined arm warmer eliminates the gap in between the glove and coat, ensuring that snow and water do not enter the wrist area. Made from lightweight, stretchy material, the fingerless glove allows for complete access to their hands. The No Snow II also features a bodice constructed from PowerDry fleece, which keeps the wearer comfortable by actively wicking moisture away from the body. Cut extra long so that it stays tucked into snow pants, the No-Snow II is the perfect winter accessory for active, older children
The No-Snow Snuggler, and No-Snow II are available in an assortment of colors and youth sizes. For more information log on-line to www.nosnowsnuggler.com
