PTG Studios “Pulse on America”show to feature Mary Anne Fitch
--Hawaiian realtor lauds “lifestyle” to retired baby boomers --
May 30, 2007, Deerfield Beach, FL – Platinum Television Group is pleased to announce the selection of Mary Anne Fitch for its innovative, educational television series, PULSE ON AMERICA. The company will be featured in a segment on “Owning a Piece of Paradise,” as a part of our Realtor of Distinction Series.
Mary Anne Fitch is one of the most successful real estate professionals in the country today. In her 18-year real estate career, she has sold over $325 million and has represented clients in over 300 transactions. Her real estate knowledge of the West Maui market is so good she has been the island’s top producer since 2000, and her intuitive understanding for the needs of her clients is the cornerstone of her success.
Fitch relocated and changed her career, from software technology in Boston, mainly because of the lifestyle in Maui, and that is the feeling she aims to convey to today’s baby boomers, looking for a good investment and/or retirement.
From the unparalleled beauty of the oceans to the mountains, to the rich native culture, Maui is unlike any place on Earth. The island lifestyle of relaxation and pursuit of passion permeates every facet of residential life.
Born and raised in Boston, the oldest of five children, she began her professional career working for Digital Equipment Corporation. She quickly became a successful sales executive, most likely due to her obsessive concern with her clients’ needs. After ten years, Fitch relocated to Los Angeles as a software executive. Maui has always been a popular vacation getaway for Californians, and she was no exception, quickly falling in love with the lush tropical scenery and year-round sunshine. After a six-week stint selling art, her true career passion was discovered – real estate.
However, her approach to real estate stands in stark contrast to others. She sold the Maui lifestyle, viewing the property as a means to an end. This philosophy, she believes, is the exact reason for her continued success. She opened her own real estate company, Mary Anne Fitch Realty Associates Hawaii. This boutique brokerage focused on premium oceanfront, ocean view and golf course properties.
Running her own company with her unique and tireless management style, Mary Anne grew this company into a $30 million real estate business. Her company’s dominance of the West Maui market positioned it as an attractive acquisition and in 2000, she agreed to merge with a nationally branded real estate company, Coldwell Banker Island Properties. In the five years since the merger, the West Maui division has grown ten-fold to $300 million in real estate sales and has 40 agents.
The West Maui real estate market offers a broad range of residences, from magnificent single-family homes, as well as large estates with ocean views, beach views, and hillside views. Several condominium options exist as well.
