Default PTG Studios - “Great Taste” show to feature The Villages of Indian Lakes

Great Taste” show to feature The Villages of Indian Lakes

--Texas eco-development from Clarke & Wyndham--

May 16, 2007, Deerfield Beach, FLPlatinum Television Group is pleased to announce the selection of The Villages of Indian Lakes for its innovative, educational television series, Great Taste.  The organization will be featured in a segment on “Developments of Distinction” in the American Real Estate Series.

What has been the best kept secret in Texas till now—a new master-planned development that is ecologically sensitive protects the environment now and in the future, and yet is just one hour north of Houston, TX—will soon be featured on the Great Taste show, which will air on The Travel Channel, Discovery Network and regional news networks.

The Villages of Indian Lakes offers 1.5 to 10-acre estate home sites, surrounded by miles of hiking and equestrian trails, a 50-acre trophy fishing lake, with boat ramp and pier, a pool and sports court, all set amid more than 200 acres of habitat conservation.  The development is in the award-winning school district of College Station, home of Texas A&M, and is highly deed restricted, set in a rural setting that preserves the natural beauty of the habitat.  All utilities are underground. It is one of the largest master-planned environmentally sensitive communities in the southern U.S., and TXCAMCO, a Texas conservation community association management company, oversees the quality assurance.

The builders and homeowners must conform to preservation guidelines on every home site and promote the overall habitat plan.  They are encouraged to practice energy efficiency and preservation of natural resources in every way possible.

The company does this “not only for our generation, but for future generations,” says Paul J. Clarke, president of Clarke & Wyndham. “There really is a developer providing affordable communities…that are developed around the concept of sustainability.  It’s the best alternative to fence-to-fence living, integrating neighborhoods into the natural habitat.”

“You CAN have it all” is their motto….and The Villages really does offer that, with maintenance-free living, outdoor activities, unspoiled setting, great location and so much more!
