The company, which encompasses a winery, restaurant, bed and breakfast, and much more, will be featured in a segment on “Hidden Travel Gems: Destinations of Distinction” as part of the Culinary Collection series. One might not immediately identify Tyler, TX, with vineyards—but it is known for cattle raising. However, Kiepersol Estates not only raises Herefords and Angus, but also invites guests to visit their offers vineyards and a winery. The Kiepersol Estates Winery is nestled in a beautiful 33-acre vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah, Tempranillo, Mourvedre, Grenache, and Muscat de Alexandria grape vines. Hand-planted in April of 1998 and May of 1999, Kiepersol's first vintage was in 2000, and it continues to grow in acclaim as well as production. Offered are wine tastings, tours of the winemaking process, and expansive vistas of the vineyard--picturesque guided tours are conducted by horse (Clydesdales!) and carriage or van (depending on group size and weather).
Kiepersol Estates Bed & Breakfast offers East Texas’ most luxurious amenities. Five stately rooms embrace you with fine linens, king-size beds, and private baths. Three rooms spoil the guest with have private porches and with hot tubs.
