Garlic Jim's also uses whole milk mozzarella produced by an Idaho dairy and a custom, freshly packed pizza sauce made from California tomatoes.

"We're right on pace with our goal, to sell 500 locations within five years," said Dwayne Northrop, the company's president and chief executive officer. Plans call for an additional 120 units to be sold in CA, AZ, NV, WA and OR, and opening another 27, for a total of 50 opened units by the end of 2006. In addition, Garlic Jim's recently announced a 70-store sub-franchise agreement throughout Northern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, with the corporate franchising company Francept, LLC.
